7 March 2007 (J&D's House) - "Chocolate cake helps give Scott first victory of 2007"

Game 1 – 8 players - (1st Dave, 2nd Dan, 3rd JJ):

Jude had pocket Kings, and hit 2 more Kings on the board for 4 of a kind. NICE !

Charlie hit a nut flush and knocked Jude out.

JJ called with A3, declaring "i've got nothing but i'm bored", after Dave went all in with 99, and hit an A on the river.

I went all in with 10 10 - Scott deliberated and called with 44. nothing else helped and I doubled up

Charlie went all in with "little slick" (AQ) vs Dave's QQ. A on flop, Charlie doubled up.

Next hand Dave all in with AK Vs Lee AJ - KK on board, Dave doubles up

I triple up with AJ vs Dave's KJ and Charlie's K10. Nothing hit !

Big split pot with JJ and Dan both with AQ - with a good all in call by JJ with Q on board (and a King to scare him)

Scott out with AJ vs Charlie's KK. No Ace came to help Scott. The cake didn't work

JJ (KQ) vs Lee (A10) - Lee all in. Flop Q5K - JJ 2 pairs. next card another 5 giving JJ 3 pairs, but an A on the river saved lucky Lee with a higher 2 pair

Lee all in with K4 - 2 pair on flop - Dan (AA) hits Ace on on turn - Lee out.

I (77) called Lucky C*nt Dave's all in (Q8) - first card out is an 8 and Lucky C*nt Dave cripples my stack.

Next hand on tilt I go all in with suited Q high shit, and Dan knocks me out with unsuited K shit.

Charlie decimated by Dave's AA

Charlie (55) out 2 hands later to Lucky C*nt Dave (J9) who hit a straight

JJ out next with A3 to Dave's A9. JJ 3rd

very long heads up - Dan all in with JJ, Lucky Dave calls with A10 and hit both.

Game 2 – 6 players - (1st Cake Boy Scotty, 2nd Lee, 3rd Bazza):

Lee knocked Dave out with trip K's vs 2 pair. Dave got taxi home to Essex.

Dan cremated with 4 red chips left with AJ vs Scott's K9 - a 9 hit.

Dan was out next to my top pair (Q's)

JJ (A8) hit 8 on flop but ran into Lee's pocket rockets. JJ out

3 left and game continued for a very long time, with Scott folding AJ suited after my all in raise. Wierd. 2 more Queens would have hit and he would have been seriously low in chips, but odd decision that Lee and myself couldn't understand.

I was out next with an 8 high flush to Scott's 9 high flush at 2am

15 mins later, Scott takes the victory. Everyone will want to bring in cakes next week !!
