Ilan in the next hand knocked Dan out with AK (hit king) vs Dan's QJ (hit J)

Then in the next hand (Dean's 2nd of the night) Dean was knocked out with A10 vs JJ's AQ (A on flop)
Ilan down to £7.25 goes all in. JJ called with 78 spades. Ilan's JJ wins - board paired A's & Q's so J high wins

Ilan then wins big next hand vs Lee with a nut flush

Dan doubles up with AK vs AQ (Lee) hitting full house

Jude doubles up with A10 vs 79 spades (Dave)
Dave misses out with AK vs Lee (88) all in. 8 on flop

Lee goes all in with A9 - JJ called with K7 - A and K on flop then a 9 on turn and 7 on river gave JJ 2 pair - thought he'd won with a shout of joy, only to realise Lee had 2 pair 2 (A's and 9's)
Jude almost gets to leave for home until Dean decided to wuss out early and leave with Jude.

Lee capitalises on Sadie crying by going all in. Ilan folds.
JJ out next, in 3rd place to Ilan.
Lee vs Ilan heads up. Both were down to nothing almost.
Ilan takes victory with A8 vs Lee's 88 - A on flop. Ilan winner
Game 2 – 6 players - (1st Dave, 2nd Dan, 3rd Lee):
I won big hand early on with A4 (2 aces on flop) vs Dan with 2 Jacks
I should have called Lee's £4.50 reraise with my pocket 6's. Lee had pocket Aces. good fold, until Lee snook a look at the cards to see a 6 would have come on the turn !
I lost lost of chips to Dan (K7 spades) vs my 45 spades with 3 spades on flop giving us both a flush, but Dan's higher.
next hand on huge tilt I go all in. Luckily I'd hit AA. Dave called with A9. 9 hits but nothing else. tilt over.
Me and Ilan split a pot with A4 each
Dave knocks me out with a straight (JJ folded what would have been a 6 card straight flush)
Dave then went on to win, with Dan 2nd and Lee 3rd. In the final hand Dave had KK and flopped trips and went on to get a full house, and keep up his record of points every week he's played !

Then the manager thought hed wait & see who would leave work the earliest, and both employees stayed until after closing. Last Year's Blog - This time last year:
Ilan hit his best hand ever - 4 Aces ; I was in Rome with Mrs I, for a long long weekend ; Dave had a very bad beat online (holding QQ and flopping QJ3 – but losing with QQQJJ (second nuts) to JJJJ (nuts) to another J on the river. Ouch!) and amazingly, one year ago this week, we all ooohed and aaaahed at the Poker Suite concept. One year in the making and well worth the wait.
